When we first began drawing the models face the teacher told us that eyes are not little ovals but actually vary depending on the person. I started with the eyes and then tried to measure the rest of the features by using the eyes as a starting mark. I managed to measure the distance between the lips and nose and gradually managed to create a face shape. Overall I think it worked quite well, looking back on it I can see faults in the toning and shapes but I prefer drawing the facial features than an entire body.
